RoboBoat 2023 was held in-person and online at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, USA, with 23 teams representing nine countries — Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Israel, Poland, Puerto Rico, Turkey, and the United States. This was a record number of teams participating in the 16th year of the competition.

At the evening awards reception, the teams celebrated all their hard work and expressed determination to return in 2024 with better built, better tested vehicles.
